What you need: blood pressure and a cholesterol panel (total + HDL) from a recent checkup.

Cardiovascular Risk Factors

How to use this calculator

Enter your age, sex, smoking status, blood pressure, and a cholesterol panel (total and HDL) from a recent checkup.

What your result means

This counts major cardiovascular risk factors rather than calculating a validated 10-year percentage — SCORE2 (used in Europe) and the ASCVD Pooled Cohort Equations (used in the US) are population/region-calibrated regression tools, and reproducing them without that calibration would risk a falsely precise number. Use this as a directional risk-factor count, and get an actual percentage from a doctor or the official regional calculator.

What people say

"Appreciated that it didn't pretend to be the official SCORE2 calculator and pointed me to that instead."

— Patricia N.

"Clear which specific factor was pushing my count up — the blood pressure one."

— George K.
