What you need: no lab tests — just the clock times of your last and next meal.

Fasting / Autophagy Timing Calculator

How to use this calculator

Enter the time of your last meal and the time of your next (planned or actual) meal. If the next meal falls the following day, that is handled automatically.

What your result means

You get your fasting window in hours and a "stage" label based on ranges commonly cited in the human intermittent-fasting literature: under 12h is a normal overnight gap; 12-16h is an early metabolic shift; 16-24h is where small human/animal studies most often report early autophagy-marker increases (evidence in humans is still limited — treat this as directional); beyond 24h carries real risk and is flagged to consult a doctor, especially if pregnant, diabetic, or with a history of disordered eating.
